Finished swim 2.4 mi, bike 112 mi, run 26.2 mi. at 9pm. Loved being able to see some other Agony Riders out there. My friend Karen finished her ironMan at 10:30. There were challenges, setbacks but God blessed me by not having my injured knee hurt during the run! Thank you, Lord.

My race goal this year was to compete in the Ironman Santa Rosa race on July 25. Unfortunately (but really fortunately), that race has been cancelled. I still wanted to complete the distance of 140.6 Miles (2.4 Miles Swimming-112 Miles Biking-26.2 Miles Running) and so I felt God leading me to do the Ironman distance for Christian Encounter Ranch (CER). CER's Agony Ride takes place on the same weekend that the IM Santa Rosa was going to be held. In addition, my family has been friends and supporters of CER for many years. And, what great motivation to finish a self/family-supported Iron Distance by "racing" for CER! So please consider supporting this awesome ministry for troubled teens. Thanks (=
