I’m excited for my third agony ride in the valley and my fourth overall. Over the past seven years of being involved with the ranch, the Agony ride is one of my favorite events that I look forward to year after year. Seeing the body of Christ come together in the form of riders, saggers, transporters, and rovers all at the ride and then sponsors and prayer warriors as well from all of the world makes this event truly special and a visualization for the students of unconditional love and just how important and special they really are. Seeing you have knee, hip, and back pain during this ride makes me reflect on how you daily put wear and tear on your body as you work to steward the property and facilities of the ranch so it can continue to be a home for students, interns, res ves and staff families. You have offered up your body as a living sacrifice. Your entire life and physical existence to God. Pouring out your energy to serve others and be the hands and feet of Jesus is not a agony ride only thing for you but something you do daily without even thinking about it because it's so engrained in you. I think of all the times I've seen you working on your knees on some dirty repair without complaint and then come home and serve me gladly too. And now those same knees work themselves for others in yet another way as you ride. You are daily accomplishing your goal of serving others with your life and I am so in awe.
