Hi friends and family, I am riding to raise funds to support Christian Encounter Ranch because I believe in what they do. They come along side kids who need support and give them a place to feel safe. The staff and Interns truly care about each student. The students are shown the love of Jesus through the care they receive. My daughter was an intern for a year so I learned first hand, through her, about all the wonderful ways the Ranch is there for the students.
This ride will be a challenge for me as I have never attempted to ride this far before. I have read stories about the Agony ride and felt it was out of my ability. This year I feel the Lord has led me to participate. I am excited for the challenge. I found that when I am tired during training, I start praying for the students at the Ranch and am reminded that they are going through challenges too and it helps me keep going.
