By this time I suppose I've become a "fixture" in the Agony. I first rode in 2000 and have ridden almost every year since. Hebrews 12:2 notes that Jesus "for the joy set before Him endured the cross..." One "endures" riding in the Agony because there is joy in being a blessing to the ministry of Christian Encounter Ranch and making a difference in the lives of hurting young people. And there is joy in recruiting saggers and other riders. I look forward to doing it all once again this year.
