Christian Encounter Ranch in Grass Valley, CA will always hold a special place in my heart! After Jim Parker convinced me I would make a good intern there loving on teens who needed some extra support and help in life. It changed my life in more ways I would know. God brought so many meaningful people into my life that year-the students, mentors, pastors, friends, and my late husband. We met and served together at the ranch and was our support system for many years after and still today.
I am so happy to get another chance to serve while riding in the Agony ride for my 3rd time. Its been 12 years since the last one, so I may be a little nervous about it, but any chance to help the ranch I will. This is their biggest fundraiser for the year that goes into running the place and helping the students know God and feel like they are important enough to keep living. They find love, strength and support from this amazing place-just as I have over the years.
Please help me as I raise money for this non profit organization (tax deduction!!)
My friend and I plan on riding 175 miles in a 24 hour period on July 24-25. If you want to encourage us to keep going you could sponsor me by the mile or just a flat donation.
